Nicola Young

I’ve been shooting performances for many years initially for theatre and now doing Unit Stills for Film and TV.  I love being on set being part of the crew that helps to bring a story to life. I’m skilled in fast moving environments, discrete and adaptable both in the great outdoors or in a studio and although I’m based in the UK – Midlands, I am more than happy to travel. I have a base in Coventry, Hinckley (Leics) and Banbury (Oxon).  In a previous life I worked doing marketing for theatre productions so I have a good eye for a shot that helps tell the story and attract audiences. I'm a recent graduate of Nicola Dove's Film Stills Academy - learning from her years of experience most recently in 007's No Time To Die and have gone on to work on a BFI funded short, a World War II love story feature film, student shorts and an ACE funded short.  I'm really keen to expand my portfolio in other genres so please get in touch.
