Abbi Shouler

I am an experienced Series Producer Director and Edit Producer largely working on Reality and Entertainment formats. I'm used to building trusting and collaborative relationships with contributors and know how to eek the most drama and comedy out of a reality set up whilst maintaining the "realness" and making sure the contributors are at ease. I'm a level headed and efficient PD, good at working to tight deadlines, keeping things under control if the action gets heated and managing all aspects of the shoot. As a director I'm used to directing multiple cameras and ensuring the edit has everything they need in terms of both content and style. I have a great deal of experience setting up large scale shoots in both the UK and abroad; sourcing locations, casting contributors, writing shoot schedules, scripts and running orders, story boarding and having story updates with celebrities and contributors in order to craft a cohesive narrative.
As an edit producer, my strengths lie in quickly identifying and streamlining story and cutting comedy. I have experience managing multiple edits, crafting episodes, cutting VT's, writing VO, music and archive research and using Avid and Forescene (Blackbird) to pull.
My most recent credits include Love Island, Celebs Go Dating, Killer Camp, Dancing on Ice and Gemma Collins: Diva Forever. I am always keen to diversify and work on projects that challenge me as well as expand upon my current skill set.
