During her time at BOA Stage and Screen Academy, Sophia has specialised in costume as worked on during Wizard of Oz as costume supervisor at The Old Rep Theatre and ,most recently, as costume maker for Frozen at BOA Creative Digital Performing Arts. Expanding on her production skills, she had gained experience in set construction on Market Boy, 13 and The Ferrymen at The Old Rep Theatre and as a stage manager on Magic To Do at The Old Rep Theatre. As well as this, she is currently studying A-Level English Literature as an additional qualification.
In her spare time, she works for National Merchandise as a concert merchandise assistant. Delving into her love of live events, she recently completed a work placement during Event Week Live with the NEC Group, focusing on event management.
Sophia has also worked on Sound of Music at The Alexander Theatre as a work placement in hair and makeup and costume, where she practised dressing and makeup application and hair styling.
With her hopes to work in the fashion and textiles industry, Sophia is currently looking to secure a place at university to study in these fields and expand her knowledge of textiles, eventually hoping to progress her career in this industry.
