About Me

I’m a law graduate with both a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree, and from early on, I was drawn to Intellectual Property, fascinated by how the law protects ideas, creativity, and innovation. My Master’s thesis explored how AI is challenging copyright and patent law across the UK and EU, and that academic curiosity has stayed with me ever since.

Originally, I was focused on working in a firm, following the typical legal route. But that changed when I became involved with Birmingham’s independent film scene. I saw how much creative talent was out there and how much value clear, accessible legal support could bring. That’s when I shifted my focus to media and entertainment law.

Since then, I’ve recently joined the CREW as a Team Leader: Moderator, to connect more deeply with the creative community, build relationships, and keep learning the ins and outs of the industry from the ground up.

Additionally, I’ve accepted a role as Head of Legal Counsel on one of the city’s biggest short film productions in over a decade, drafting actor releases, statements of work, and other key documents. I’m also currently working as an advocate, speaking to judges on a daily basis, which has strengthened my communication and negotiation skills, which I aim to refine in this field.

Outside of law and film, I’m also writing a book called “Endure!” - a personal project aimed at helping young people navigate everyday challenges using logic and philosophy.

At the heart of everything I do is a passion for helping creatives bring their work to life. I aim to support everyone safely, confidently, and with the legal support they deserve.
