Jonny Rhodes

Jonny is an experienced Lighting Camera Operator and Director of Photography. His career has seen him progress through the camera department and has created content for some of the world’s leading brands, sports teams and channels.

Starting out in post-production meant he learned a lot about storytelling, camera framing & movement and understands building sequences for an edit, which he brings to his style of shooting. With a creative eye and technical mind, he is able to craft beautiful images in the most challenging locations.

During his career he has acquired plenty of camera and lighting kit, including a Sony FX9, which he regularly shoots with but is more than comfortable using kit that is provided by any given production.

A trusted and confident yet empathic member of any team means he can make collaborators and contributors feel comfortable with ease.

Outside of work he loves playing and keeping up with basketball, raising his 2 sons, and escaping to the coast whenever possible.
