Having recently left BOA Stage and Screen, Robin has specialised in live events sound and general theatre technology. He has worked as a Sound Designer for David Eldridge’s ‘Market Boy’, as Sound 1 on BOA CDPA’s productions of ‘As You Like It’ and ‘Twelfth Night’ and, most recently, as Sound 1 on the professional production of ‘The Wizard of Oz’ directed by Lorna Laidlaw.
Outside of his work through BOA, Robin has been on work placement for Marklew Productions Ltd to work on the ‘2024 Black Talent Awards’ at the Birmingham ICC, event manages for the 21st Century Child initiative, hosts and records for the radio show ‘Unmuted’ on Black Country Xtra and is a casual technician for the Birmingham Hippodrome.
Robin is looking forward to working as a casual technician in multiple venues and has secured a place at Guildhall School of Music and Drama for ‘Production Arts: Theatre Technology’ which he has chosen to accept. At Guildhall, he intends to further his technical aptitude and build a network within the West End’s and wider London’s venues.
