Callum Read

Callum is an aspiring young actor and filmmaker who’s passion in front and behind the camera existed from a young age when he attended various drama groups and film clubs. His influences range from cult classic films such as The Shining and Shaun of the Dead to TV shows such as Inside No. 9, Utopia but most of all, Doctor Who. As well as recently graduating from a college course in filmmaking and photography with a final grade of Distinction*, Distinction, Distinction where he walked on his own short film and documentary both of which were nominated for the college's awards, Callum has also helped out on various amateur projects, most recently script supervising on a surrealist comedy short film. He is cheerful and creatively minded with a sensible and positive working attitude and eagerness to learn and develop experience in various fields within the film and television industry. Callum’s ultimate goal is to one day work on something that goes on to mean as much as his favourite show - Doctor Who - does to him.
