Having fell in love with film and television at an early age, I have long aspired to forge a career for myself in these industries. Such aspirations have informed many of the professional and academic decisions I have made in my life: In 2016, I graduated "top of my class" from the University of Southampton with a BA in Film Studies. In 2023, I accomplished the same feat in my Master's programme, earning an MA in Film and Television: Research and Production from the University of Birmingham.

Following my Master's study, I have redoubled my effort to forge a career in film and television. Just recently, I have finished my contracted engagement with Series 5 of 'Shakespeare & Hathaway: Private Investigators', a BBC Studios Production. Beginning as a Production Runner, I quickly stepped up to the role of Assistant Production Coordinator and became entrusted with a whole host of critical administrative responsibilities e.g., arranging artist travel, BAFTA Albert compliance, equipment hire, Silvermouse maintenance, etc.

Whilst my immediate hope is to continue finding work in the production department, I would be remiss if I did not also express my interest in researcher opportunities -- particularly those within the factual genre. My predilection for this particular sector of the industry can already be seen in my efforts as a video essayist; my body of work covering issues as broad as contemporary American politics, the ethics of true crime documentaries, and even the UK gardening scene.

Although I have stressed the preferred direction in which I would like to take my career, my employment so far illustrates a willingness to take on any and all industry opportunities that come my way. My belief is that a plurality of experiences leads to a more well-rounded skillset, and I certainly believe that I have something to offer any possible production -- not least an eager self-starting attitude and a genuine enthusiasm for the industry at large.
