About Me

I have over a decade's worth of experience producing music independently, using a mix of organic instrumentation, hardware electronics (synthesizers and sampler), and software (Ableton Live, Audacity) to create atmospheric music inspired the likes of (amongst others) Angelo Badalamenti, Boards of Canada, and Aphex Twin.

After studying at the University of Birmingham for an MA in Film and Television: Research and Production, I've been increasingly interested in soundtrack composition - having worked on the score to the short horror film 'Wrek' (https://youtu.be/WupLj-3cboo) and for the BBC Sounds radio play, 'No Place Like Home' (https://www.bbc.co.uk/sounds/play/m000bvp7, also written by me).

The music I release with the indie label, Disintegration State, can be checked out here - http://mutebranches.bandcamp.com/ - including my latest release 'The Detective is Dead', which was named in Bandcamp's New and Notable feature in September 2020.
